Lend

Hand
Club
|
 |
|
 |
The
Lend-A-Hand Club
is a group of 13 fifth graders and 3 high school
mentors. They meet after-school once a week to plan and
implement school service projects.
Since
their first meeting in November, the group has helped with
the holiday canned food drive and decorated the foyer for
Christmas and Valentine’s Day. Beginning in mid-January,
the club has been painting the large trash barrels used in
the cafeteria.
Other
projects planned for spring are: picking up trash, watering
the new trees and shrubs around the school building, and
completing a wall mural dedicated to the 5th
grade Class of 2006!!!
